The conferences begins with the pōwhri on
Friday 20 November 2026 Pōwhiri at Ōtākou marae
The pōwhiri is your official welcome by the mana whenua (people of this land) to Ōtepoti
We will have buses to transport conference participants to the marae.
8:30 AM: Meet at Te Kura Ākau Taitoka University of Otago College of Education 9:30 AM: Bus leaves for marae 10:30 AM: Bus arrives at marae 1:30 PM: Bus leaves marae to return to Te Kura Ākau Taitoka for Opening Plenary and light refreshments |
